These terms cover the use of restaurantbeck.com. Using the site means you accept them. They are short, because the site is simple.

The menu and prices

We cook to what is available, so the menu here is what we are serving as of the date printed on it, not a promise. Dishes, ingredients and prices change, sometimes within the same week, and the menu in the dining room governs. A 3% surcharge is added to credit card transactions; there is no surcharge on debit cards or cash.

Reservations, deposits and events

Reservations are made through Tock, and Tock's terms apply to the booking itself. Ticketed events such as wine dinners may require a deposit per guest, applied to the cost of the dinner. Those dinners carry a 48-hour cancellation window: cancel earlier and the deposit is refunded; cancel inside it, or do not arrive, and the deposit is kept. The terms shown when you book are the ones that apply.

Where an event is a fixed menu we say so at the time of booking, including when we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions or substitutions.

Messaging

You can message us through our Google Business Profile in Search and Maps. Some replies are generated automatically by Google's AI assistant from information we have published; a person reviews the thread and answers anything the assistant should not. Automated answers can be wrong or out of date, so a message is not a confirmed reservation and nothing in a message changes the menu, the price or the terms of a booking until we confirm it. For anything time-sensitive, call the restaurant.

Do not send card numbers, identification or other sensitive information by message. Messaging is not monitored around the clock and must not be used for emergencies.

Allergies

Tell your server about allergies and dietary restrictions, every time. Descriptions on this site list the main components of a dish, not every ingredient, and our kitchen handles nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish and eggs.

Gift cards

Gift cards are sold and administered by Toast, our point-of-sale provider, under their terms, and are redeemable at Restaurant Beck.

Words and pictures

The text, photographs, menus and design on this site belong to Restaurant Beck and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Share a photograph of your dinner wherever you like.

Links to other places

We link to Tock, Toast, Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps. Those are their sites, run under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

No warranty

We keep this site accurate and current and still make mistakes. It is offered as it is, without warranty, and we are not liable for loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits a right you hold under Oregon law that cannot be limited.

Oregon law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Oregon, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Lincoln County, Oregon.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
